PING Scottsdale TEC (Tour Elevated Concepts)

Scottsdale TEC putters are designed and influenced by our collaboration with Tour players and our innovation team's research in the PING Putting Lab. The eye-catching new look sets the putters apart, while introducing innovative alignment technology to help golfers sink more putts.

Scottsdale TEC putters were developed using a proven eye-tracking technique known as Quiet Eye. This new alignment technology, called Eye-Q, provides a unique focal point on top of Scottsdale TEC putters. Using this focal point and a long alignment line, players can "quiet" their gaze before the stroke. The dot provides a clear, unobtrusive anchor point for the golfer's gaze, making it easier to maintain a stable fixation precisely when needed. This stability is crucial for the quiet eye phase.

The Scottsdale TEC Ally Blue and Ketsch models offer an onset hosel position, which places the shaft near the center line of the putter head, behind the top and in front of the center of gravity. The onset hosel position provides a clear view of the ball for easier alignment.

The center of gravity position behind the shaft axis ensures it is pulled (rather than pushed) during the stroke, providing stability and preserving the twist and dynamic feel of a slightly arced stroke model or an in-line stroke model.
A one-piece PEBAX insert in Scottsdale TEC putters offers a slightly softer feel and greater distance control. PEBAX elastomer, a material commonly used in sports shoe soles for its elastic properties, is a lightweight, high-energy return compound that offers a soft yet responsive feel.
The lightweight aluminum body and high-density stainless steel sole plate position the weight low and towards the perimeter in Scottsdale TEC putters to ensure extreme moment of inertia (MOI) and an optimal center of gravity for high forgiveness and consistent roll.
