Ping S259 Wedge Graphite

The new s259 wedges build on the increased spin and control characteristics of the Tour-winning s159 family.

New grind refinements and loft additions offer golfers of all levels increased accuracy and versatility, with a Tour-level look, feel and sound.

The wheel grooves of the s259 wedges are precision milled in variable dimensions,
depending on the loft.

The 54- to 62-degree options feature more closely spaced MicroMax grooves, while the 46- to 52-degree wedges have a 20-degree sidewall, milled to maximize groove volume and achieve greater control on full shots. A friction-enhancing contact surface helps provide launch and spin control for precise play from all distances.

The E-grind has been remodeled in the S259 to give it a more familiar look at the address,
while maintaining high performance in sand shots and with a slightly open face.

The S259 T grind features a steeper trailing edge, allowing the face to sit very low on open-faced shots.

In the s259 W grind, 50° and 52° lofts have been added to better accommodate golfers with steeper attack angles who need a lower lofted wedge to optimize gapping.

New optimized lofts increase player confidence and versatility.

Each PING wedge loft is designed to excel in specific situations. The lower-lofted S259 wedges (46°-50°) combine a straighter leading edge with a lower, more centered center of gravity; this creates a better gap and integrates seamlessly with PING iron sets.

The medium lofts of the s259 wedge family (50°-54°) feature a full-length lower groove and a higher center of gravity to aid distance control and slow wedge shots.

The higher-lofted s259 wedges (56°-62°) utilize a greater visual offset and a smaller hosel to give golfers more confidence in manipulating the clubface around the greens.
