Ping iDi Utility Iron

The iDi marks a major leap forward in driving iron and long iron performance, offering advanced golfers the flexibility of three loft options to match their distance and trajectory window.
The lofts offered are optimized for launch and spin in the 2-, 3-, and 4-irons, with a thinner forged maraging steel face that flexes to increase ball speed and distance. The 2-irons are a traditional driving iron, offering low launch and spin. The 3-irons (medium launch, medium spin) are designed as a replacement for driving irons or long irons. The 4-irons launch higher and offer more spin, making it easier to get on the green and is also recommended as a replacement for long irons.
The 17-4 stainless steel head is deeper front to back and shallower, allowing for a 15% higher MOI at high/low impacts and making room for the new inR-Air technology. inR-Air is an air pocket in the clubhead that dampens sound and improves feel. The covered cavity and i-Beam structure help reduce vibration. Additionally, the iDi is shorter from heel to toe for easier spin. For greater shot control, each iDi is approximately 1/4" shorter and 1° flatter. The fixed hosel allows for the use of all 10 PING color codes. In addition to standard lofts, Power and Retro lofts are available.
To improve turf interaction, the iDi is designed with higher bounce, a rounded lead edge and increased outsole curvature.
