The dual-curved sole helps position the center of gravity lower and further back, resulting in faster ball speeds and a higher flight. The iron enters and exits the ground more easily.

Behind the thin, flexible face, a PurFlex insert with three flex zones helps control face flex while enhancing feel and sound.

Wider, Faster Face
The Hyper 17-4 stainless steel face flexes more to generate greater ball speed, higher flight, and more distance, with greater forgiveness for hitting and stopping the ball on the green.

In general, players with higher swing speeds require stiffer shafts to maintain a lower ball flight, while players with lower swing speeds require more flexible shafts to achieve a higher ball flight.

The choice between steel or graphite shafts is usually based on weight and/or feel preference. Players looking for a lighter overall weight and/or a softer feel in their irons may prefer graphite shafts, while players who prefer a standard weight club with a stiffer feel may prefer steel shafts.
