Ping G440 K Driver

For golfers seeking to maximize speed and forgiveness, the G440 K introduces a new 32-gram adjustable backweight to achieve PING’s straightest and highest MOI adjustable driver.

Golfers experience maximum forgiveness and ball speed retention across the entire face, with the ability to shift the center of gravity by positioning the weight in Neutral, Draw, or Fade to customize their shot.

The G440 K’s backweight is 4g heavier than the G430 MAX 10K’s fixed backweight (PING’s previous highest MOI driver). This places more weight on the perimeter of the driver to increase MOI and shifts the center of gravity deeper and lower, ensuring greater ball speed thanks to the faster T9S+ face.

The Dual Carbonfly Wrap and Free-Hosel technology reduce the weight of the G440 K’s sole (3.5g), crown (1.5g), and hosel area. This saved weight is optimally distributed on the perimeter of the driver head (including the backweight), positioning the center of gravity lower and deeper for increased ball speed and increasing MOI for greater forgiveness.

PING’s FreeHosel technology reduces the heel section by 3g and increases flex for ball speed retention in that area of the face.

A composite bridge on the crown and acoustic "ribs" on the sole attached to the crown and sole of the G440 K improve sound with a more muted and solid impact. The ribs dampen unwanted vibrations by stiffening the crown and sole during impact.
