Free pipette, low CG The weight savings achieved thanks to the Free Hosel (11.5 g) and the Carbonfly Wrap crown help create a low center of gravity and ensure forgiveness. |
High flight, fast face A shallower face helps you make contact higher on the face and lift the ball higher. The thinner face and optimized face profile help increase ball speed in the center of the face and control ball speed on off-center hits. |

Corona Carbonfly Wrap The Carbonfly Wrap crown saves weight, which is redistributed to help lower the center of gravity, provide forgiveness and contribute to a quieter, more pleasing sound at impact. |
Contoured sole design Common to all G440 fairway models, a thinner rear weight profile ensures the head sits more flush and the face angle remains consistent, regardless of the loft or lie setting in the adjustable hosel. |

Loft-specific designs The 2 is slightly fade-oriented with a lower, more penetrating flight off the tee. The 3 and 4 have increased loft for a higher launch with a neutral flight and more stopping power. The 5, 6 and 7 offer a slight draw tilt and a higher flight for straighter flight and a good spread when paired with the iron set. |
G440 High Launch (HL) To help players with a slower swing generate speed, higher flight and distance, the HL fairways are designed with an aluminum backweight, a PING Alta Quick shaft and a Lamkin UTx Lite grip. |

Shafts designed by PING The Alta CB Blue counterbalanced is lighter to help increase clubhead speed with a medium-high to high ball flight. The Tour 2.0 Black has a low ball flight and low spin, a good choice for faster swing speeds. The Tour 2.0 Chrome offers a medium-low ball flight with control and precision. |
Aftermarket Shafts
The Project X Denali Red is counterbalanced and offers a high trajectory with medium-high spin, ideal for a moderate swing pace. The Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Black is an option for a low ball flight with little spin, designed for more powerful swings. |

NOTE
- These are design specifications that may vary due to manufacturing tolerances.
- The lie angle is an average of the five adjustable loft positions indicated on the hosel
- The achievable swing weights depend on the shaft and grip combinations.
- The standard swing weight for the High Launch (HL) configuration is C7
- The HL configuration is available in models 3H to 7H
- Available for left and right handed users.
To get the most distance from your driver, you absolutely must optimize the launch angle and spin of the ball by selecting the right loft and shaft flex for your swing. Golfers with slower swing speeds typically need drivers with higher lofts and more flexible shafts to achieve optimal ball launch conditions. On the other hand, players with a fast swing speed need drivers with lower lofts and stiffer shafts. We recommend that you experiment to use the shaft that best suits your characteristics to play your best golf. A certified Ping Fitter like MULLIGAN can help you find the shaft that will bring consistency to your game.

PING offers a variety of grip sizes and styles to accommodate different hand sizes and texture preferences. Because grip size affects wrist action and therefore shot direction, it is commonly used by fitters to influence ball flight.
PING grips are color-coded and available in six different diameters; they can be further customized with tape wraps to suit your needs. Once the neutral grip color code has been determined based on hand measurements, golfers can consider smaller diameter grips to help control fades and slices, or larger diameter grips to help control draws and hooks.
