In the fairway woods and hybrids of the G425 line, two innovations, Facewrap™ and Spinsistency™, together help you consistently make more distance to overcome obstacles and hit more greens. A tungsten weight in the sole increases the MOI in the steel head making them easier. Available in lofts: 2H (17°), 3H (19°), 4H (22°), 5H (26°), 6H (30°), 7H (34°).

Spinsistency

A complex curvature of the face leads to less loft in the lower part to obtain more consistent performance in terms of spin and greater ball speed to achieve more distance.

Optional Stock Shafts

The Aldila Rogue White gives a feeling of stability and little spin with a medium/low ball trajectory. The Mitsubishi Tensei AV Orange has a medium/high trajectory with little spin and is counterbalanced for greater stability and control.

Maximizing distance and accuracy on long fairway shots is possible by finding the right flex to fit your swing. The goal is to get the correct trajectory that maximizes distance on long fairway woods and minimizes roll on short ones.

Normally the same type of shaft, with the same flexibility, that you use on the driver will allow you to obtain an optimal trajectory even with the fairway wood but it is not uncommon for you to use a completely different shaft as, having to shoot the ball mainly from the ground , the behavior turns out to be completely different.

PING grips are color coded and available in six different diameters; they can be further customized with turns of ribbon according to your needs. Once the neutral grip color code has been determined based on hand measurements, golfers can consider smaller diameter grips to help control fade and slice, or larger diameter grips to help control draw and hooks.
