Spinsistency A complex face curvature results in less loft in the lower part of the club for more consistent spin performance and higher ball speed for more distance.
|
Shaft Stock Options The Aldila Rogue White has a stable, low-spin feel with a medium-low trajectory. The Mitsubishi Tensei AV Orange has a medium-high trajectory with low spin and is counterbalanced for greater stability and control.

NOTES
- The Lie is obtained by averaging the 5 loft adjustments of the pipette
- The Swingweight with the High Flex CB 65 Slate SR & R are 1 point less than the standard
- Swingweight with the Tour 65 R and Tour 75 R are 1 point less than standard
- These specifications may vary due to manufacturing tolerances.
- Available for right or left-handed players
Maximizing distance and accuracy on long fairway shots is possible by finding the right flex for your swing. The goal is to achieve the correct trajectory that maximizes distance with long fairway woods and minimizes roll with short ones.
Normally the same type of shaft, with the same flexibility, that you use on the driver will allow you to obtain an optimal trajectory also with the fairway wood but it is not uncommon to have to use a completely different shaft as, having to hit the ball mainly from the ground, the behaviour turns out to be completely different.
We recommend getting a fitting to find the shaft that best suits your needs and help you play your best golf. A certified PING fitter like MULLIGAN can help you find the shaft that will bring consistency to your game.

PING offers a variety of grip sizes and styles to accommodate different hand sizes and texture preferences. Because grip size affects wrist action and therefore shot direction, it's commonly used by fitters to influence ball flight.
PING grips are color-coded and available in six different diameters; they can be further customized with tape wraps to suit your needs. Once the neutral grip color code has been determined based on hand measurements, golfers can consider smaller diameter grips to help control fades and slices, or larger diameter grips to help control draws and hooks.
