Garmin Approach Z10

Precision and simplicity to always know the distance

The Garmin Approach Z10 is a compact laser rangefinder designed to quickly provide the distance to the pin and other targets on the course. With 6x magnification, it allows you to measure the distance to the pin up to approximately 320 meters, with an accuracy of up to ±1 meter.

Compact and lightweight, the Approach Z10 weighs just 178 grams and is designed to be easily carried throughout your round.

Quick distance measurement

The Approach Z10 allows you to quickly obtain the distance to the pin thanks to the laser measurement system.

When the rangefinder detects and locks onto the flagstick, a vibration confirms that the target has been correctly acquired. This allows you to focus on club selection without wasting time during your shot preparation.

The system can also measure the distance to other targets on the course, making the device useful not only for knowing the distance to the flagstick, but also for evaluating hazards, trees, and other reference points.

6x magnification

The viewfinder offers 6x magnification, making it easier to spot the flagstick even when it is at a great distance.

The viewfinder is also equipped with an adjustable diopter, which allows you to adjust the focus to your visual needs.

Range Relay: distance directly on your Garmin device

One of the most interesting features of the Approach Z10 is the Range Relay function.

Once the distance has been measured with the rangefinder, the data can be transmitted via Bluetooth to compatible Garmin devices or the Garmin Golf app.

This way, you can view the laser-measured distance on the paired device and get a more complete representation of the situation in front of the player.

When connected to a compatible device, the Approach Z10 can also provide distances from the flagstick to the front and back of the green, helping you better understand the position of the pin on the green.

PlaysLike distance

The PlaysLike feature takes into account elevation changes to provide an adjusted playing distance.

In the presence of an uphill or downhill shot, the device can therefore indicate a distance adapted to the slope, helping the player choose the club based on the actual distance the shot will need to cover.

This function can be deactivated when using tournament mode.

Tournament mode

The Approach Z10 has a specific tournament mode, designed to allow the use of the rangefinder in compliance with competition rules.

When activated, the PlaysLike function is disabled and an external light allows you to quickly verify that the device is in tournament mode.

It is a particularly practical solution for those who use the rangefinder during both friendly games and competitions.

Compact and lightweight

One of the strengths of the Approach Z10 is its extremely compact size.

Weighing only 178 grams, it is lighter than many smartphones and can be easily carried in your bag or pocket during your round.

The design was developed specifically to reduce bulk without sacrificing the fundamental functions of a modern laser rangefinder.

Up to one year of battery life

The Approach Z10 uses a replaceable CR2 battery and offers a claimed battery life of up to one year.

The included battery allows you to start using the device immediately, while it can later be replaced with a standard off-the-shelf CR2 battery.

Find My Rangefinder

Thanks to the connection with the Garmin Golf app, the Approach Z10 can help you find your rangefinder if it is misplaced.

The Find My Rangefinder function allows you to view the last known location of the paired device.

A particularly useful feature considering the small size of the rangefinder.

A rangefinder designed for the golfer who wants simplicity

The Approach Z10 is designed for those who want the precision of a laser without having to use a bulky or complex device.

It is particularly suitable for:

• golfers who want to quickly know the distance to the flagstick;
• players who prefer to use a compact and lightweight rangefinder;
• those who want to integrate laser measurements with a Garmin device;
• players who participate in tournaments and need tournament mode;
• golfers who want to use the PlaysLike function to account for elevation changes.
