Garmin Approach S72 GPS

On the course. The Approach S72 comes with mapping for over 43,000 preloaded golf courses. You get distances to the green and hazards, an aerial view of the course, and green contours to better read your putts. The Virtual Caddie suggests the club, and the PlaysLike distance adjusts the data by taking elevation changes and wind into account. Many of these tools, such as green reading, can also be found on a rangefinder, but here they are always on your wrist.

Your swing, measured. The new feature is data collection from the wrist: hand speed, backswing length, and wrist rotation. At the end of a round, you can overlay heart rate data with your score to understand if fatigue or tension affected certain holes.

Built to last. Titanium bezel, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, ComfortFit fabric strap (with QuickFit attachment for easy changing), and 5 ATM water resistance. The multi-band GPS with SatIQ improves accuracy in challenging conditions.

More than a golf watch. Microphone and speaker to answer calls from your wrist, NFC for contactless payments, LED flashlight, 64 GB of memory for music, apps, and maps, as well as sensors for heart rate, pulse oximetry, skin temperature, and ECG app.

Battery life. Up to 16 days in smartwatch mode on the 47 mm model (up to 10 days on the 43 mm). In golf mode with GPS active, up to 20 hours (47 mm) or 15 hours (43 mm): enough for several full rounds.
