The MainFrame in 4i through 7i irons is a system of channels and cavities precisely milled into the back of ZipCore XL iron faces to maximize flexibility at impact.
By increasing COR and repositioning mass for a lower CG, MainFrame creates greater ball speed, as well as more consistency and forgiveness.
XL Head Design A larger head allows more mass to be positioned away from the center of the club for increased MOI. This MOI increases forgiveness to levels that help all your shots launch high and fly straight.
