Maximizing distance and making shots easier were the primary goals for the G730, our longest and most forgiving iron to date. Distance gains of approximately five meters are generated by the flexible Hyper 17-4 stainless steel face. It's not just about distance, but distance with maximum height and greater forgiveness for shots that hold the greens.

Flexing Face

Utilizing Hyper 17-4 stainless steel through heat treatment, we thinned the face and optimized its overall structure to increase flex and help lower the center of gravity, delivering higher launch angle shots, increased ball speed, and approximately five extra meters of distance.

Powerful Sound

The cavity back design is complemented by the proven PurFlex back badge that enhances feel and produces a more powerful sound. Multiple flex zones allow for freer flexing to increase ball speed across the face for longer shots.

Complete Performance

The G730 is available from #5 iron to #9, pitching wedge, U-wedge, 50°, and 56°. The four wedges feature machined faces and grooves for increased control and consistent results in all conditions.

Distance-Optimized Lofts

Custom-designed lofts help increase distance with an eye on optimizing spacing between irons. The Power Loft or Retro option allows fitters to further optimize performance. The tungsten toe screw and shaft weights enable fine-tuning of swingweight.

Extreme Forgiveness

The larger head, increased offset, and wider sole in the micro-cast design increase MOI on both axes, enhancing forgiveness for better stability and accuracy in this premium game-improvement design.

The stock shaft is True Temper's new Dynamic Gold Mid 100 with multiple flexes, while the slightly heavier Dynamic Gold Mid 115 is a no-upcharge option. The stiffer mid-section and softer tip promote higher launch and spin with a stable feel.
