Titleist Vokey SM9 Ryder Cup Special Edition Wedge
Titleist Vokey SM9 Ryder Cup Special Edition Wedge
On the occasion of the 2023 Ryder Cup which will take place at Marco Simone in Rome, Titleist has created this special series of Vokey SM9 wedges customized with laser silk-screen printing for Team Europe or Team USA, a unique opportunity for a true golf lover .
Anyone can make a wedge, but it takes a master to transform a piece of high-performance technology into a tool of creative control. This is Bob Vokey's mission.
Bob Vokey didn't always dream of being the ultimate master of the wedge. But from the moment he raised his hand and said, "I'll try," he began honing his craft with unwavering dedication. Each Vokey Design wedge is a demonstration of two distinct realities: the precision of engineering and the artistry of craftsmanship.
F GrindMilling valid for a wide range of full shots with the wedge. The F grind is particularly suited to full shots and shots where you hit with a square face; ideal for players who prefer a traditional sole. It is the most used wedge on the Tour. |
M GrindVersatile milling The M milling, Vokey's favorite, is designed for players who want to rotate the club to open or close the face to work the shot around the green. Ideal for players with a flat swing, who brush the ground and who play shots with a wide variety of face positions. |
||
S GrindNarrow & Versatile The S Grind features a full sole that has been thinned with a rear milling giving a fast feel of traversing the clod. This milling is best for neutral or hard ground and for players who want to control loft by placing their hands forward or back of the ball. |
D GrindThe high bounce wedge The D grind combines the versatility of toe/heel milling with the tolerance of high bounce. The D milling is ideal for players with a vertical attack angle and a wide variety of face positions. |
||
L Grind Precision for expert players. The L Grind is the option that has the least bounce. The heel, toe and rear edge are milled to allow maximum versatility around the greens. This solution is perfect for hard ground conditions and was created for precise players. Ideal for players who have complete control of the club and want to work the ball by opening the face. |
K GrindThe "ultimate" wedge from the Bunker The K Grind has the highest bounce of the entire SM9 line. The K is a wide, full-sole cut with an improved curvature that makes the wedge tolerant of a wide variety of sand and terrain conditions. |
|
||
Tour ChromeThe classic chrome finish with highly polished parts. The finish is very durable and is for the player who prefers a look in line with his chrome irons. |
Brushed Steel
A black nickel finish that has been brushed to give it an antique finish. This finish is for the player looking for less reflection that is immediately recognizable in the bag.
|
Jet Black
A raw wedge that has been treated with a black QPQ finishing process. This wedge will rust and is for the player looking for a rough wedge that will wear out with play.
