The 10 models in the Sigma 2 family are designed for golfers who prefer a softer feel but with the feel of a hard-faced putter. They also feature a new variable-length shaft on each model. Ping studies show that 8 out of 10 golfers play with the wrong length putter and that consistency improves when you can adjust the length of your putter to perfectly match your technique and posture.

The soft face is the result of the material it is made of, the dual-durometer PEBAX. A soft front layer ensures precision for those short putters that absolutely must not miss. The stiffer back offers a solid response and great distance control to hole even the longest putts. By combining the two different PEBAX stiffnesses and using the TR pattern on the face, Ping has satisfied a large segment of golfers while improving the overall consistency.	The lightweight, easy-to-adjust, USGA-compliant adjustable-length shaft, with a mechanism elegantly hidden under the grip, allows adjustment from 32" to 36". The process is easy and intuitive and is done by inserting a tool into the hole above the grip. A full turn of the tool changes the length by approximately ¼" and the grip remains perfectly aligned during adjustment.	The ability to adjust the length independently allows you to experiment between 32" and 36" and find the perfect length, based on your technique and posture, to increase the consistency of your putts. You will no longer have to adapt to your fixed-length putter, but you can find the ideal position, with your eyes above the ball or slightly inside, with a simple adjustment.

Touch and speed are further enhanced with Ping's innovative patented TR face pattern; the grooves on the face, of varying depths, improve the consistency of ball speed when hit off the center of the club. This helps to have forgiveness across the entire face and improves accuracy.	The hallmark of this new putter is a golf ball-sized center hole that allows you to pick up the ball from the green or even directly from the hole without having to bend over.	Three grips made directly by Ping, allow you to find the ideal comfort. The PP60 is a lightweight midsize, designed to adapt to the contours of the hands. Slightly heavier, the PP61 has a very accentuated Pistol shape and is inspired by the popular PP58 grip. The PP62, while remaining lightweight, has a wider and rounded shape to more neutralize the action of the hands.
