A thinner and faster face in C300 maraging steel, a significantly higher MOI and the possibility of 8 different adjustments distinguish this new Ping fairway wood from the previous ones. The increased ball speed achieved with the face technology combines with a lower profile which helps to lift the ball more easily with great tolerance for error. Additionally, the wood is lighter overall making it easier to swing and have a faster clubhead for longer shots.

Faster faces C300 maraging steel is one of the strongest alloys in the world and is normally used in the aerospace industry; in the fw GLe2 it has allowed us to create a thinner face that flexes more for a faster ball that goes further and higher. 3W (19°), 5W (22°), 7W (26°) and 9W (30°) available.

Trajectory Adjustment TableThe Fairway Wood G Le2 uses the new hosel, lighter and more aerodynamic, which allows 8 different adjustments that influence the ball flight through the loft (±1.5°).

Lighter Shaft and Grip A lighter and softer Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 grip is used in an attractive garnet color and the proprietary ULT240 Lite or Ultra Lite graphite shaft lowers the total weight of the fairway wood for faster swings so you have a ball faster with the same effort.
