Ping G430 SFT Driver
Ping G430 SFT Driver
Optimized T9S+ forged face A shallower, thinner, variable thickness face and transition design all play a balanced role in reducing weight from the face, while creating greater deflection to generate greater ball speed for the longest Ping driver ever. |
Sound engineering Research into audio frequencies and harmonics led engineers to create a new internal rib structure and increase the curvature (stiffness) of the crown, crown and outsole, resulting in an optimal sound and impact experience. |
Spinsistency New to this driver family is a variable roll radius that creates less loft low on the face to improve performance by reducing spin, resulting in higher speeds that generate consistently longer shots. |
Straight Flight Technology New to the SFT head is a movable 22-gram tungsten counterweight that positions the center of gravity to provide 13 yards of right-to-left shot correction in the Draw setting and another 7 yards in Draw+ (20 yards total). |
Loft Rule, Lie Trajectory Tuning 2.0 uses a lightweight, aerodynamic sleeve that provides eight positions to customize your trajectory for maximum distance and accuracy. |
Trajectory Tuning Chart The lightweight 8-position hosel allows adjustments for loft (±1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flatter than standard) to further fine-tune ball flight for the best results. |
G430 High Launch(HL) In testing, golfers with slower swing speeds gained an average of nine yards off the tee thanks to the increased ball speed generated by the HL version's lighter system weight (11g back weight, PING ALTA Quick shaft and Lamkin UTx grips). Only available in MAX and SFT |
Shaft Ping The PING ALTA CB Black offers a medium-high launch angle, the PING Tour 2.0 Chrome medium and the PING Tour 2.0 Black promotes the lowest trajectory. The HIGH PING Quick is for slower swings. |
Optional shafts The Project X Hzrdus Smoke Red RDX provides a higher launch angle, the Mitsubishi Kai'Li White lower. |

- These are design specifications that may vary due to manufacturing tolerances
- The standard length is based on the Alta CB 55 Black shaft
- Standard length with PING Tour 2.0 crome or black, Mitsubishi Kai'Li and HZRDUS Smoke Red RDX shafts is 45 ¼"
- Standard length for the HL (High Launch) build is 46"
- The standard swingweight with the HZRDUS Smoke Red RDX 60 is 1 point higher than standard
- The standard swingweight with the Mitsubishi Kai'Li White 60 is 2 points above standard
- The standard swingweight for the HL (High-Launch) construction with the ALTA Quick shaft is D0 in the 35 flex and D1 in the 45 flex
- Available in left- and right-handed models
To get the most distance from your driver, you absolutely must optimize launch angle and ball spin by selecting the right loft and shaft flex for your swing. Slower speed golfers typically need higher lofted drivers and more flexible shafts to achieve optimal ball launch conditions. On the contrary, players with a high swing speed need drivers with lower lofts and stiffer shafts. We recommend that you experiment to use the shaft best suited to your characteristics to play your best golf. A Ping Certified Fitter like MULLIGAN can help you find the shaft that will bring consistency to your game.

PING offers a variety of grip sizes and styles to accommodate different hand sizes and texture preferences. Because grip size influences wrist action and therefore the direction of shots, it is commonly used by fitters to influence ball flight.
PING grips are color coded and available in six different diameters; they can be further customized with turns of ribbon according to your needs. Once the neutral grip color code has been determined based on hand measurements, golfers can consider smaller diameter grips to help control fade and slice, or larger diameter grips to help control draw and hooks.
