Ping G430 Driver LEFT HANDED
Ping G430 Driver LEFT HANDED
Optimized T9S+ forged face A shallower, thinner, variable-thickness face and transition design all play a balanced role in reducing weight from the face while creating more deflection to generate more ball speed for Ping’s longest driver ever. |
Sound Engineering Research into audio frequencies and harmonics led engineers to create a new internal rib structure and increase the curvature (stiffness) of the crown, crown and sole, achieving optimal sound and impact experience. |
Spinsistency New to this driver family is a variable roll radius that creates less loft low on the face to improve performance by reducing spin, resulting in higher clubhead speeds that generate consistently longer shots. |
The Maximum of Tolerance To optimize ball flight and maximize distance while maintaining the highest MOI in PING history, a 25-gram high-density tungsten counterweight can be moved to position the center of gravity to provide ±8 yards of variation between Draw, Neutral and Fade settings. |
Loft Rule, Lie Trajectory Tuning 2.0 uses a lightweight, aerodynamic sleeve that provides eight positions to customize your trajectory for maximum distance and accuracy. |
Trajectory Tuning Chart The lightweight 8-position hosel allows for loft (±1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flatter than standard) adjustments to further fine-tune ball flight for the best results. |
G430 High Launch (HL) In testing, golfers with slower swing speeds gained an average of nine yards off the tee thanks to the increased ball speed generated by the HL version's lighter system weight (11g back weight, PING ALTA Quick shaft and Lamkin UTx grip). Available in MAX and SFT only |
Shaft Ping The PING ALTA CB Black offers a medium-high launch angle, the PING Tour 2.0 Chrome medium and the PING Tour 2.0 Black promotes the lowest trajectory. The PING ALTA Quick is for slower swings. |
Optional shafts The Project X Hzrdus Smoke Red RDX provides a higher launch angle, the Mitsubishi Kai'Li White a lower one. |

- These are design specifications that may vary due to manufacturing tolerances.
- The standard length is based on the Alta CB 55 Black shaft
- The standard length with PING Tour 2.0 chrome or black shaft, Mitsubishi Kai'Li and HZRDUS Smoke Red RDX is 45 ¼"
- The standard length for the HL (High Launch) build is 46"
- The standard swingweight with the HZRDUS Smoke Red RDX 60 is 1 point higher than the standard
- The standard swingweight with the Mitsubishi Kai'Li White 60 is 2 points higher than the standard
- The standard swingweight for the HL (High-Launch) construction with ALTA Quick shaft is D0 in the 35 flex and D1 in the 45 flex
- Available in left-handed and right-handed models
To get the most distance from your driver, you absolutely must optimize the launch angle and spin of the ball by selecting the right loft and shaft flex for your swing. Golfers with slower swing speeds typically need drivers with higher lofts and more flexible shafts to achieve optimal ball launch conditions. On the other hand, players with a fast swing speed need drivers with lower lofts and stiffer shafts. We recommend that you experiment to use the shaft that best suits your characteristics to play your best golf. A certified Ping Fitter like MULLIGAN can help you find the shaft that will bring consistency to your game.

PING offers a variety of grip sizes and styles to accommodate different hand sizes and texture preferences. Because grip size affects wrist action and therefore shot direction, it is commonly used by fitters to influence ball flight.
PING grips are color-coded and available in six different diameters; they can be further customized with tape wraps to suit your needs. Once the neutral grip color code has been determined based on hand measurements, golfers can consider smaller diameter grips to help control fades and slices, or larger diameter grips to help control draws and hooks.
