Named after the city of Chichibu, Japan, where the Graphite Design Japan factory is headquartered, the Chichibu ultra-lightweight premium wood shaft design is a lightweight shaft under 45 grams. It is available in R (Regular) flex.
The Graphite Design Chichibu series of wood shafts are designed for golfers with driver swing speeds between 60 and 85 MPH. They feature a soft tip profile and a low kick point that will produce a high launch condition and medium spin rate, providing additional distance gains over regular stock shaft offerings. Individually handcrafted to very tight tolerances, Chichibu shafts utilize premium, ultra-thin, aerospace-grade carbon fiber materials to achieve a lightweight feel, as well as provide the golfer with a shaft that possesses superior response and feedback at impact.
