Cleveland CBX 4 Wedge

The new CBX 4 ZipCore wedges combine premium versatility and elite forgiveness in a highly refined, sharp-looking design that integrates seamlessly into the bag with modern cavity back or hollow iron sets inside. And now, these CBX Series wedges implement all of Cleveland Golf's latest tour technologies (HydraZip, ZipCore and UltiZip) to create our finest cavity back wedge ever.

HYDRAZIP
Our proprietary HydraZip face technology features a dynamic explosion system and laser-milled lines to improve surface friction, maximizing spin consistency in wet or dry conditions and from anywhere on the green.

ANY CONDITION. MAX SPIN
Three different blast media and laser-milled line patterns are used for the CBX 4. With their lower loft, the 44°–48° wedges require fewer hits on the rough surface and fewer lines to maximize spin performance. The 50°–52° wedges, with their slightly higher lofts, have a slightly rougher surface and more lines. And the 54°–60° wedges, with their higher lofts, receive the most grind with the most lines to increase friction and improve consistency.

ZIP CORE
ZipCore technology works in concert with the CBX 4's rear cavity design, reducing vibration while also increasing MOI for greater feel, control, consistency and forgiveness.
ZipCore replaces the heavier steel in the hosel and heel with an ultra-lightweight yet durable vibration-damping material. Mass is repositioned in the toe and high on the face for plenty of MOI and a CG right where you hit the ball.

ULTIZIP
UltiZip face technology consists of a specialized sequence of sharper, deeper and narrower grooves to provide the ultimate in spin, control, consistency and bite in the short game.
Sharper grooves allow you to cut through grass and debris. Deeper grooves create space for grass, sand, dirt or water to evacuate the impact zone. Narrower grooves provide more serious bite and better edge contact. Plus, because they are narrower, we added even more grooves from heel to toe than normal.

Our innovative V-shaped outsole with 44°–52° loft makes full swing and straight-face shots a breeze by gliding across the turf without digging in, even if you hit slightly behind the ball.	An S-shaped sole with added bounce at 54°-56° lofts is ideal for bunker shots and open-faced precision shots from the rough or fairway, helping you get in and out of sand or grass without losing speed.	A C-shaped grind at 58°–60° lofts is perfect for open-faced lobs, and the heel and toe milling means you're free to manipulate the face angle to suit any situation around the green.
