NOTES
- Design specifications may vary due to manufacturing tolerances
- Power Spec Loft is a suitable option for players looking to increase iron distance or decrease spin to achieve their desired trajectory window. This custom-designed loft configuration offers a calculated power increase without sacrificing the integrity of the iron's design
- Retro Spec Loft is a suitable option if you are less interested in overall distance and more in precision and a higher trajectory for greater stopping power. This loft configuration produces functional clearance spaces for using a 3-wedge configuration or a more classic loft specification
- Bounce varies slightly on irons ordered with non-standard loft specifications
- Standard swingweights for graphite shaft irons are 1 to 2 points lighter than shown, depending on shaft flex
- The standard swingweight for the HL (High Launch) in the 7 iron is C8
- Achievable swingweights depend on shaft, length and grip combinations
- Available for left-handed and right-handed users.
PING offers a variety of steel and graphite flex options to meet your needs and preferences. Choosing the right flex for your swing will help you achieve greater distance and accuracy on every shot. Typically players with a fast swing want stiffer shafts to keep the ball trajectory lower, while players with slower swings prefer more flexible shafts to obtain a higher ball trajectory.
The choice between steel or graphite is usually based on weight and feel preferences. Those who prefer greater lightness and a softer touch will prefer graphite, on the contrary they will opt for steel.
We recommend having a fitting session to choose the most suitable shaft for you. Whether light with a high launch angle or stiff with a low trajectory, a PING certified fitter like Mulligan will surely find the shaft that will bring consistency to your game.
PING offers a variety of grip sizes and styles to accommodate different hand sizes and texture preferences. Because grip size influences wrist action and therefore the direction of shots, it is commonly used by fitters to influence ball flight.
PING grips are color coded and available in six different diameters; they can be further customized with turns of ribbon according to your needs. Once the neutral grip color code has been determined based on hand measurements, golfers can consider smaller diameter grips to help control fade and slice, or larger diameter grips to help control draw and hooks.
Lamkin UTx Lite (HL only)
|
The UTx Lite allows you to experience the benefits of the UTx model while adhering to a tight, light tolerance for overall swingweight. UTx provides a secure and comfortable connection to the stick with maximum sensitivity and feedback in all weather conditions. |
Arccos Smart Sensors “Customer Appreciation Program.” How does it work:
- Own or purchase any Ping driver, fairway wood, hybrid, crossover, iron, wedge or putter.
