Ping Golf Logo

The G425 MAX takes Moment of Inertia to the highest levels in Ping history. Forgiveness is provided primarily by the removable 26g tungsten weight, achieved thanks to the weight saved by the advancement of Dragonfly Technology on the crown. The Center of Gravity can be varied by moving the weight in the neutral, draw or fade positions. The forged T9S+ titanium face increases flex for increased distance. Available in 9°, 10.5° and 12° lofts.

Crown Weights

Dragonfly®Internal

With Dragonfly technology, the weight saved in the ultra-light 8-1-1 Ti crown has been redistributed throughout the head to increase MOI and optimize CG for more distance and forgiveness.

The Highest MOI

In the MAX version, the total MOI reaches an exceptional level of 10,000, largely due to the 26g movable tungsten weight which moves the CG lower and back and can be set to Neutral, Draw or Fade.
Face rogue and tensei

Precision Forged Face

A patented, high-strength, precision-machined T9S+ forged face maximizes flex to deliver high ball speeds and increased distance.

Shaft Stock Options

The Aldila Rogue White has a stable feel and low spin with a medium/low ball trajectory. The Mitsubishi Tensei AV Orange has a medium/high trajectory with low spin and is counterbalanced for stability and control.
tip hosel

Aerodynamic Design

Refined Turbulators on the crown reduce drag for increased swing speed and ball speed.

Easy Adjustment

Trajectory Tuning 2.0 uses a lightweight, aerodynamic hosel that allows for 8 different positions to customize your ball trajectory for maximum distance and accuracy.
Tuning Chart ribs

Trajectory Tuning Chart

Trajectory Tuning 2.0 in the G410 uses a lightweight aerodynamic hosel that allows for 8 different adjustments to alter ball flight, including loft (±1.5°) and lie up to 3° flatter than standard.

Internal Ribs

PING engineers crafted an internal structure by reinforcing key sections with ribs that improve the acoustics of the shot for a firm, pleasant ground and improved feel.
high distance Grip Arccos

Stock Shaft

The PING Alta CB Slate shaft is counterbalanced with an 8g insert at the end to increase momentum and forgiveness.

Smart Grips

Arccos Caddie Smart Grips are standard. A built-in sensor automatically records and analyzes every shot when paired with the Arccos App.

NOTE

  • Standard length based on Alta CB 55 Slate shaft
  • The standard length of the PING Tour 65 & 75 shafts is 45 ¼"
  • The standard length of the Aldila Rogue and Mitsubishi Tensei shafts is 45 ¼"
  • The Lie is obtained by averaging the 5 loft adjustments of the pipette
  • The standard swingweight with the PING Distance shaft is 1 point lower than the standard
  • These specifications may vary due to manufacturing tolerances.
  • Available for right or left handed players

To get the most distance from your driver, you absolutely must optimize the launch angle and spin of the ball by selecting the right loft and shaft flex for your swing. Golfers with slower swing speeds typically need drivers with higher lofts and more flexible shafts to achieve optimal ball launch conditions. On the other hand, players with a fast swing speed need drivers with lower lofts and stiffer shafts. We recommend that you experiment to use the shaft that best suits your characteristics to play your best golf. A certified Ping Fitter like MULLIGAN can help you find the shaft that will bring consistency to your game.

PING offers a variety of grip sizes and styles to accommodate different hand sizes and texture preferences. Because grip size affects wrist action and therefore shot direction, it is commonly used by fitters to influence ball flight.

PING grips are color-coded and available in six different diameters; they can be further customized with tape wraps to suit your needs. Once the neutral grip color code has been determined based on hand measurements, golfers can consider smaller diameter grips to help control fades and slices, or larger diameter grips to help control draws and hooks.

Grip Arccos Color Code The Arccos Caddie Smart Grip, available only in the Golf Pride Lite 360 Tour Velvet, is standard across the G425 line. It features a built-in sensor that records and analyzes every shot during the round when paired with the Arccos Caddie app. It comes in four sizes: White (Std.), Gold (+1/32"), Aqua (-1/64"), and Red (-1/32").
Grip Tour Velvet Color Code The Golf Pride Tour Velvet represents the state of the art in rubber fusions with an anti-slip design that guarantees maximum playability and confidence. The surface with cuts in the shape of a + has been specifically designed to channel moisture away from the surface for a firm grip at all times.
velvet tour grip cord Color Code The Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord represents the state of the art in rubber fusions with a non-slip design and cotton twill fibers that ensure maximum playability and confidence in all weather conditions.
