In this model dedicated to players with slice problems, the head is slightly wider with a tungsten weight moved towards the heel which increases the ease of the club favoring a right/left ball flight (for right-handed players) for straighter shots. In the fairway woods and hybrids of the G425 line, two innovations, Facewrap™ and Spinsistency™, together help you consistently make more distance to overcome obstacles and hit more greens. The SFT version is available in the lofts: 3W, 5W, 7W.

g425 Shaft

Spinsistency

A complex curvature of the face leads to less loft in the lower part to obtain more consistent performance in terms of spin and greater ball speed to achieve more distance.

Optional Stock Shafts

The Aldila Rogue White gives a feeling of stability and little spin with a medium/low ball trajectory. The Mitsubishi Tensei AV Orange has a medium/high trajectory with little spin and is counterbalanced for greater stability and control.
G425 g425

Easy to take aim

There is a new 3-dot alignment on the crown that gives the player a visual cue to align correctly.

Tungsten Weight

A high-density tungsten weight under the sole is strategically placed to increase MOI and make the club easier.
Grip Arccos Pipette G425

Smart Grips

Arccos Caddy Smart Grips are standard. A built-in sensor automatically records and analyzes each shot when paired with the Arccos App.

Easy adjustment

A light and aerodynamic hosel allows 8 different positions to customize your ball trajectory and obtain the maximum in terms of distance and accuracy.
Exploded Loft Chart

Maraging Steel Face

Thinner, high-strength face wraps around the crown and sole to improve flex and achieve faster, longer balls with a high ball flight.

Trajectory Tuning Chart

The Trajectory Tuning 2.0 in the G410 uses a lightweight aerodynamic hosel that allows 8 different adjustments to change the ball flight, through loft (±1.5°) and lie making it up to 3° flatter than standard.

Shaft High CB

Stock Shaft

The PING Alta CB Slate is the standard shaft designed by Ping to obtain a high launch angle while maintaining stability.

Maximizing distance and accuracy on long fairway shots is possible by finding the right flex to fit your swing. The goal is to get the correct trajectory that maximizes distance on long fairway woods and minimizes roll on short ones.

Normally the same type of shaft, with the same flexibility, that you use on the driver will allow you to obtain an optimal trajectory even with the fairway wood but it is not uncommon for you to use a completely different shaft as, having to shoot the ball mainly from the ground , the behavior turns out to be completely different.

We recommend that you do a fitting to find the shaft that best suits your characteristics and be able to play your best golf. A Ping Certified Fitter like MULLIGAN can help you find the shaft that will bring consistency to your game.

PING offers a variety of grip sizes and styles to accommodate different hand sizes and texture preferences. Because grip size affects wrist action and therefore the direction of shots, it is commonly used by fitters to influence ball flight.

PING grips are color coded and available in six different diameters; they can be further customized with turns of ribbon according to your needs. Once the neutral grip color code has been determined based on hand measurements, golfers can consider smaller diameter grips to help control fade and slice, or larger diameter grips to help control draw and hooks.

Grip Arccos Color Code The Arccos Caddy Smart Grip, available only in the Golf Pride Lite 360 Tour Velvet version, is standard across the entire G425 line. Inside it has a sensor that records and analyzes every shot during the round when paired with the Arccos Caddy app. It is available in 4 sizes: White (Std.), Gold (+1/32"), Aqua (-1/64"), and Red (-1/32").
Grip Tour Velvet Color Code The Golf Pride Tour Velvet represents the state of the art in rubber castings with an anti-slip design that guarantees maximum playability and confidence. The surface with +-shaped cuts has been specifically designed to convey moisture away from the surface to always have a firm grip.
grip tour velvet cord Color Code The Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord represents the state of the art in rubber castings with a non-slip design and cotton twill fibers that guarantee maximum playability and confidence in all weather conditions. The surface with +-shaped cuts has been specifically designed to convey moisture away from the surface to always have a firm grip.
